A day long workshop on “fire safety and earthquake management” held on 7th May 2016 at Model Livestock Institute Dhaka (Amulia Model Town, Demra). About 35 participants attended the workshop and Mr. Shakhawat Swapon, the founder of Safety Management Foundation spoke on earthquake management, fire safety, causes of fire accident, steps to be taken for firefighting, use of fire extinguisher and the operation of fire extinguisher. The participants were basically village doctor on animal health. Mrs. Salma Sultana, the founder and chairman of Model Livestock Advancement Foundation Dhaka also attended there and she said the activities of safety school are really very important and these will make a radical change in our society for disaster management. Its working with making aware the common people and training the people on practical based disaster management.
